Message from Barbara Tyson

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU

We cannot thank you enough for your participation in the family reunion. We hope you enjoyed yourselves as much as we enjoyed having you celebrate our heritage with us. We received the last call Monday night confirming that the last of the attendees had arrived home safely, for which we thank God.

During the reunion, we were moving so fast until there were a few things we forgot to do. One of the most important was to express our sincere gratitude to YOLANDA for making the beautiful favors that was created and made solely by her. Another was to share a beautiful poem written by SHIRLEY and copies were made for each of you. In our haste, we did not get the opportunity to pass them out, so we will include the poem along with your CD of the reunion. Also, thanks to LARRY and LISA for their outstanding performances. Last but not least, we wanted to mention that AQUILLA was the first to get her registration form in. The list is to great to mention each contribution that was made by each of you, but please know that whatever you did (no matter how large or how small) it played a vital part in the success of the reunion and we thank you so very much.

Our cameraman was there through the first two days of the reunion and he captured some awesome shots. We would like to share the images with each and every one of you. If you would like a copy of the CD email me directly for info on how to obtain one, click here.

If you are interested in being on the committee for the next reunion, please contact:

Sonja at cherokee2k@sbcglobal.net;
or Teka at joice1226@yahoo.com

We hope you enjoyed yourself as much as we enjoyed having you, and do not let it stop here. We must share and teach our children the beauty of family. We will see you all again at the next reunion if not before.

GOD BLESS YOU AND TAKE CARE,

Barbara
