Barbara (one of the reunion coordinators) emailed and asked me (just like I hope you will too) to pose the following questions:
Q: Did anyone meet any family for the first time?
Q: Did anyone meet someone they are still in contact with since the reunion?
Q: What would you like to see happen at the next reunion?
She wants to get a dialog started and to get some ideas to pass on to the next reunion coordinators. If you have some suggestions, please click on the "Comments" link at the bottom of this post. We'd LOVE to hear what you have to say.
Have a great weekend!

Roll Call
Welcome back, everybody! I hope your Labor Day was a nice, relaxing break from all that "labor" we do on a daily basis.
It was hotter than the devil's underpants here in Southern Cali. We're not used to THAT much heat for so many consecutive days, so people were looking to be anywhere the AC was. Myself included. Most people here don't have AC because we usually don't need it, but temps near the ocean were at 100 degrees and inland and in the valley areas it got up to 113 degrees. Yeah, I know we are extreme weather wimps out here (we freak out when it's too hot AND when it's too cold), but hey we're spoiled. ...and we can admit it. Don't act like I'm the only one (all you Cali folks)! :o)
Anyhoo, on to the point of this post. I was thinking that we need to "shout out" all the birthdays, anniversaries, special events, and other happy goings-on and what nots that need celebrating/commemorating. So send me any items that fall into the above categories (send pictures if you have them and I'll include those too) and I'll get them up right away. We can all share and celebrate each other's happiness and successes.
Holla!
